Dorothy Claire Hicks Winston, 88, passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2013. She was born on May 10, 1925 in Tuscaloosa, AL to Victor and Annie Hicks. She is survived by her son Eddie Winston and wife Brenda; daughter Nanci Wells and husband Kirk; four grandchildren: Jennifer Winston Lewis, Arch Wiston, Jeremy Wells, and Lauren Wells; four great grandchildren: Brittany Winston-Tallent, Aiden Lewis, Callie Wells, and Brayden Winston; sister Juanita Jean Williams; and brother Herbert Gosa Hicks. She is preceded in death by her husband William Edgar Winston and daughter Allison Claire Winston Radney. The family would like to especially thank Sajata Moses Rattle and Betty Folse. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 25, 2013 from 8am until service time at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
