Dr. Stephen J. Weilbacher

"Dr. Stephen J. Weilbacher, a native of Shreveport and lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, died on December 8, 2018. He was a man who had a heart for Christ and his fellow man, always willing to help others with a loving heart. He was selfless of his time and energy, always putting the needs of his family before his own. He enjoyed playing golf with his sons and spending time with his grandchildren and family. He was a devoted husband of 44 years, a loving and caring father to his children, and the best grandfather (Boompa) to his six grandchildren. He was a graduate of St. Aloysius, Baton Rouge High, Louisiana State University, and the LSU Medical Center School of Dentistry. He is survived by: his wife of 44 years, Kathleen Screen Weilbacher; two sons - Stephen John Weilbacher and wife Brittany Cmiel Weilbacher of Seal Beach, CA, and William Russell LeBlanc III and wife Kellea McGehee LeBlanc of Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters "“ Kameron Malone Aaron and husband Christopher Joseph Aaron of St. Louis, MO, and Kendall Screen Bailey and husband Geoffrey Nolan Bailey of Jersey City, NJ; and six grandchildren "“ Christopher Patrick Aaron, Bridget Anne Bailey, Camille Geneva Weilbacher, William Barrett Aaron, Scarlett Jane Bailey, and William Russell Boote LeBlanc, IV. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Karoline Elaine Weilbacher. A visitation will be held at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government Street, on Wednesday, December 12 beginning at 5:00 p.m. until a memorial service at 7:00 p.m.
