A native of Independence, he died Friday, June 12, 2009. He was 63. Graveside service under the direction of Rabenhorst Funeral Home will be held at Ford Cemetery in Loranger on Monday, June 15, at 3 p.m., with his family in attendance. He is survived by his sister, Melva Bond; brother-in-law, Jewel Bond; nephews, Jewel, Aaron and Fletcher Bond; and numerous great-nephews and great-nieces. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cecil and Louise Ford; and brother, Calvin Ford.
