Edward "Buzz" Smith Palmer III, 59, passed away on Saturday, May 20, leaving behind cherished memories and a profound sense of loss among his loved ones. He was a beloved father, uncle, brother, and son who touched the lives of many with his kindness, generosity, and warm spirit. Buzz had a special place in his heart for his nieces and nephews and cherished them as if they were his own. Buzz is survived by his three children: daughter Kimberly Palmer; son Austin Palmer; and daughter Claire Palmer Goldsmith, along with her spouse, Connor. He is also survived by his mother, Lucille Palmer; his sister Katherine Crosby and her spouse Jeff; and his brother James "Pnut" Palmer and his spouse Debora. Buzz was preceded in death by his father, Edward Smith Palmer Jr. A service to honor Buzz's life will be held on Thursday, May 25, at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church. Visitation will take place from 1–2:30 p.m., followed by a Mass at 2:30 p.m. The burial will be held at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Buzz loved trips to the beach, where he found solace and joy. He had a special gift for making people laugh and telling captivating stories that brought smiles to all. His kind and generous nature endeared him to everyone he met, and he effortlessly formed deep connections and lifelong friendships. Buzz's presence will be deeply missed, and his memory will forever live on in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him. May his soul rest in eternal peace.
