
Edna was born in Woodville, Miss., on Oct. 20, 1922, and died at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center at 4 a.m. Wednesday, June 10, 2009. She was 86 and a resident of Sherwood Manor Nursing Home. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, June 11, was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home chapel on Friday, June 12, from 8 a.m. until religious services at 11:30 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Eddie White. Graveside services will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Woodville at 2 p.m. Friday. She is survived by two sons, Mel Fife, of Cleveland, Texas, and James Fife, of Livingston; a daughter-in-law, Cathy Fife, of Livingston; five grandchildren, Jon Fife, of Houston, and his son, Jason, Brian Fife and wife Kandice, of Orange, Texas, and their children, Shelby and James, Missy Leventhal and husband David, of Dallas, and their children, Daniel, Caroline, Abigail and Lilly, and Danny Fife and wife Ashley, of Livingston, and their children, Hunter, Clint and Tyler and Krista Fife, of Livingston. She was preceded in death by her husband, Clemens Fife. Edna was a member of South Baton Rouge Church of Christ and was faithful to her Lord all her life.
