A homemaker, artist and a native and resident of Baton Rouge, she died Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 82. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Thursday, Feb. 26, from 10 a.m. until religious service at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Paul McDuffie. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Survived by her husband, Robert A. Kling Jr.; three daughters, Karen Kling, Kim Kling and Karla Lindsly Kling; son and daughter-in-law, Kerry R. and Carol P. Kling; four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and a step-great-grandchild. Pallbearers will be her son and grandsons. She was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and the Baton Rouge Art and Artists Guild. She was a graduate of Istrouma High School and the Famous Artists School of Bridgeport, Conn.
