Edna Hurst McClement passed away Friday, May 17, 2013 at the age of 91. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and a native of Emporia, Kansas. She was a retired assistant to the Louisiana Secretary of Public Service Commission. She is survived by her nieces and nephew and their spouses; Matthew Grant and Mia Hurst, Thais Hurst and Thomas G. Boothe, Denise Hurst and Vincent W. Farrington Jr., Theresa Hurst and Francisco Hernandez and Kathryn Ann Hurst. She is preceded in death by her parents Chester and Louise Spiess Hurst. Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church on Friday, May 24, from 12:00pm until Mass of Christian Burial at 1:00pm conducted by Rev. Peter Dang, interment to follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Special thanks to the staff of Lake Villa House and Notre Dame Hospice.
