Edna Lewis Rowland passed away on Monday, December 4, 2017, at the age of 94. She was a native of New Orleans, LA, and a long-time resident of Baton Rouge, LA. Edna is survived by her friend and neighbor, Glenda Richard; and distant relatives. She is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Hawk Rowland; parents, John Frederic Lewis and Gertrude Edna Lawler; and cousin, Theresa “Teo” Marchasseau of Fort Worth, TX. Greenoaks Funeral Home is handling arrangements and she will be laid to rest at a later date at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
