Edna Marie Ferachi Sexton

Sexton, Edna Marie FerachiOur dear mother Edna passed away Sunday, June 12, 2016, surrounded by her loving family who cherished her and will miss her dearly.  She is survived by her devoted husband Huey P. Sexton; loving mother of  Kim and Karl Robillard, Cindy and Bret Besson, Laurie and Nick Martina, Paula McKay and fiancé Ricky Perry and Stephen and Nena Sexton;  grandmother of seven, great grandmother of thirteen and great great grandmother of one.  Edna was a graduate of St. Joseph's Academy, a devoted Catholic, and a member of St. Agnes Catholic Church.  She is preceded in death by her parents Nunzio J. Ferachi, Jr. and Jeannette S. Ferachi.  A visitation will be held at St. Agnes Catholic Church, 749 East Boulevard, Wednesday, June 15, 2016, from 9:00 am until recitation of the Rosary at 10:30 am.  A  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 am celebrated by Father J. Clifton Hill.  Interment will conclude in Greenoaks Memorial Park with Stephen Sexton, Michael Martina, Cory Besson, Austin Martina, Andrew Besson, Stephen Robillard, Bob Armstrong, Bret Besson and Ricky Perry serving as pallbearers. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Childrens Hospital or to the Alzheimer's Association of Baton Rouge.
