Dr. Edward Paul (Doc) Booth, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday, July 26, 2021, at the age of 72 after a long battle with kidney disease. Doc was born on February 20, 1949 to John and Shirley. He was a graduate of Istrouma High School in Baton Rouge, LA and Palmer Chiropractic College in Davenport, IA. Doc practiced Chiropractic medicine for 37 years in Baton Rouge. The majority of that time was spent working alongside his father. Doc is preceded in death by his wife, Debby Robert Booth. He is survived by his two daughters, Shannon Booth Palmer and husband, Tom of Conroe, TX and Natalie Booth Pallotta and husband, John of Powell, OH; and 5 grandchildren Caley, Keira, Luke, Elle and Ava. Doc was an avid golfer, pet lover and loyal friend. His infectious personality, sense of humor and witty comments made him a man that left an impression on all who knew him. One of his favorite lines was “Let’s blow this pop stand!” You did just that dad. Until we meet again. Please join us for a Celebration of Life for the man we will continue to cherish and love, on Saturday, October 9 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until a Memorial Service at 3:00. A reception will follow at El Rancho at 4:00 (Doc’s favorite restaurant) 10820 Florida Blvd. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the ASPCA in his honor.
