Elaine Fay Bauman

Elaine Fay Bauman was born on November 16, 1941 in Cottonport, LA., and passed away on April 30, 2026 at the age of 84 years old. Her favorite thing to do was to spend time with her family and cook for everyone who came into her home. She loved taking care of everyone. She is survived by her daughters, Cindy Richard (Milton) and Stephanie Revell (Jeff); her sons, John Bauman Jr. (Allison) and Jeremy Bauman (Melissa); three grandsons, Adam Richard, JJ Revell and Everett Bauman; 5 granddaughters, Brittney Revell, Lindsey Magri, Megan Murphy, McKenzie Bauman, and Ellie Bauman; and 6 great-grandchildren, Kynsley Wellman, Braxton Richard, Mason Richard, Kannyn Magri, Nolan Magri, and Lindy Revell. She was preceded in death by her husband John H. Bauman; her parents, Oledas and Maude Marcotte; her sister, Nettie Marcotte; and her brothers, Allen and Louis Marcotte. Visitation will be held at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church in Baton Rouge, LA., on June 2, 2026 from 9 a.m. – 10 a.m. followed by a Mass. Burial will be held at Louisiana National Cemetery, 303 West Mount
