Elaine Browning Fife

Our loving Mother Marie Elaine Browning Fife passed peacefully at her home on Sunday Feb 22, 2015 at the age of 95. She was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home Wednesday February 25 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm. Visitation will continue at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Thursday February 26, 2015 from 9:30 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, the St. Alphonsus Altar Society and longtime adorer at the Adoration Chapel. She is survived by her daughters Janice Fife, Barbara Guerin and her husband Lawrence, her sons E. Paul Fife Jr. and his wife Sadie, Terry Fife and his wife Effie, and Phillip Fife and his wife Linda, and her sister-in-law Jane Browning. She had 17 grandchildren, 49 great grandchildren and 8 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Enos P. Fife Sr., her parents Frank and Lottie LeJeune Browning, and her sister and brothers Ann Lewis, Floyd Browning, Joseph Browning and Merrit Browning.
