Elisa C. Cockerham

Our beloved Elisa has been healed and made whole as she has gone to be with her Lord and Savior in Heaven. Elisa passed away on Wednesday, August 2nd, 2023 at the age of 47. She was a pediatric nurse, caring for and loving sick babies until her health issues forced her to stop. She fought diabetes and kidney disease for several years and was anticipating being placed on the transplant list before her unexpected passing.

Elisa is survived by her parents, Jerry and Marsha Cockerham; her sister, Virginia Cockerham; her nephew, Max Atkinson; her maternal grandfather, Marshall Jenkins; her best friend and her husband, Jessie and Joshua Gregoire; her adopted niece Remi Gregoire. She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends whom she all loved dearly. She is preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Joy Jenkins; and paternal grandparents, Edmond and Virgie Cockerham.

Visitation will be held at Greenoks Funeral Home, Saturday, August 5th, 2023 from 9:30 a.m until services begin at 12:30 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Greenoaks Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, we ask that you please contribute to her go fund me account "Honoring the life of Elisa Cockerham" to cover her funeral expenses.
