Elizabeth C. Comish Pearce

Elizabeth C. Pearce, a native and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Tuesday October 13, 2015 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. She was 71 years old. She was affectionately known as “Bitsy to her family and friends and “Mimi” to her grandchildren.

“Bitsy” was preceded in death by her father Samuel Edwin Comish, her mother Edelene White Comish and a brother John B. Comish.

Those left to cherish the fond memories of “Bitsy” are her husband Hampton J. “Jack” Pearce. Three daughters Jacquie Carter and her husband Richard and their children Kaleigh, Shane, Troy and Grant of Austin, TX; Janet Hudson and her husband John and their children Jessica and Mahren of Mill Valley, CA; Amy Pearce also of Austin, TX. A son Michael Pearce and his wife Nicole and their children Savannah, Zac, Max, Ainsley and Trace of Prairieville. 2 brothers Edwin C. Comish and his wife Billie of Baton Rouge and Ray Comish and his wife Cathy of Lake Charles and sister-in-law Alice Comish of Baton Rouge.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Saturday October 17, 2015 from 11am-12pm with funeral service beginning at 12pm with Rev. Ken Carroll, officiating. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
