
A resident of Baton Rouge and a member of St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, he died Friday, June 27, 2008, at home surrounded by his family. Emile was born Sept. 7, 1919, in Plaquemine. Emile is survived by his loving wife of 69 years, Rosalie Eisworth Barrow, of Baton Rouge; brother, Joe Barrow; sisters, Mamie Barrow and Norma Gus; daughter, Diane Eibsen and husband Douglas Eibsen; sons, Dr. Emile A. Barrow Jr. and Dana Barrow; six grandchildren, three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 30, at 9 a.m. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Visitation at the funeral home on Sunday was from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Monday is from 8 a.m. until service time. Pallbearers will be Doug Eibsen, Robert McBride, Bob Eisworth, Walter H. Eisworth, Scott Barrow, Kraig Rogillio, Eric Barrow, Ronnie Burleigh, Logan Barrow and Ted Jones. Honorary pallbearers are Ellis Samaha, Dr. Barr, Dr. Raines, Joe Barrow, Roy Rogillio, Sherry Burleigh, Caroline Joyce Sanchez, Judy McBride, Dr. Mark Napoli and Roy Haley.
