A former Baton Rouge resident, she died Friday, Jan. 18, 2008, at her home in Sevierville, Tenn. She was 82, born on June 13, 1925, in Jackson, Miss., to the late Pearl Agnew LeJeune and William Leblanc Tucker. She was united in marriage to the late E. Murry Greer. Emily retired after 20 years of service with the Louisiana Department of Motor Vehicles. Emily is survived by her daughter, Emily Murree Greer Waller and son-in-law, Preston Richard "Dickie" Waller, of Sevierville; her son, William Murry Greer and daughter-in-law, Barbara Shows Greer, of Memphis, Tenn.; five granddaughters, eight great-grandchildren, other relatives and friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Mary Elizabeth Causey. Funeral service for Emily Greer will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Wednesday, Jan. 23, at 11 a.m., officiated by the Rev. Dennis Terry, pastor of Greenwell Springs Baptist Church. Visitation prior to service at 9 a.m. Interment in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, 6305 Groom Road, Baker.
