Enrique Cerda, a native of Managua, Nicaragua, and a resident of Denham Springs, he passed away on Wednesday, January, 25, 2012, at age83. He moved to the United States in 1979. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday, January 28, 2012 from 9:30am until a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The Rev. Frank Uter will be presiding over the services. He is survived by his children: Enrique Cerda, Sister Leyla P. Cerda, Congregation of St. Joseph, Regina M. Guidry and husband Alphonse, Carmen Soledad Guidry and husband Ricky, and Carlos M. Cerda and wife Linda; and his grandchildren: Rebecca M. Guidry, Leila M. Guidry, John Paul Guidry, Carlos E. Cerda, Albert Cerda, Christina N. Guidry, and Richard D. Guidry. He was preceded in death by his wife Leila M. Sanchez de Cerda; father, Enrique Urcuyo Cerda and mother, Isabel Ramirez de Cerda. Enrique was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church Parish.
