Estelle L. Smith

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Psalm 23:1. Estelle Smith was born on November 1, 1918 and died at 4:10P.M. Sunday May 10, 2015 at Carpenter House at the age of 96. Mrs. Smith was preceded in death by her husband Sidney Lee Smith, her parents, 4 brothers and 4 sisters. She is survived by her son George D. Sibley of Baton Rouge. Grandsons Glenn F. Sibley and wife Julie of Bentonville, AR, Scott J. Sibley and wife Melane, of Roswell, GA, and Todd Lee Sibley and wife Erika of Denham Springs; Five Great grandchildren, Meagn, Noah, Anthony, Jamie Lee and Geralyn Sibley. Mother of her grandchildren Geralyn A. Penn. Funeral Services will be Saturday May 16, 2015 at 12 noon in the Chapel of Greenoaks Funeral Home with Rev. Jay Avance officiating. Interment will follow the service in Greenoaks Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 9 am Saturday until service time. Pallbearers will be Glenn Sibley, Scott Sibley, Todd Sibley, Jimmie Kleinpeter, Ernest ( Tinker) Linder, Jessie R. Coleman Jr. and Albert Dake. Honorary pallbearers Noah Sibley, Anthony Sibley, and Arthur Kleinpeter.
