Esther passed away August 17, 2026 at 6:30 a.m. She was a member of KC 4085 Ladies Auxiliary and St. Isidore Catholic Daughters. She is survived by her son-in-law's and daughters, Johnny and Edana Johnson and Mike and Wynette Devillier, nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, A.G. Dayries, Jr. and son, James (JED) Dayries and many more family members. A big Thank You to Mrs. Jo at the Carpenter House for all she did for Mom. Visitation will be held at St. Isidore Catholic Church, 5657 Thomas Rd., Baton Rouge, LA, on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m., with a Memorial Mass beginning at 11:00 a.m.
