Eugenia Efferson Hart

Eugenia Lucille Efferson Hart was born July 14, 1930, in Frost, Louisiana to Helen Efferson Langlois and Jiles William Efferson. A longtime resident of Baton Rouge, she died July 3, 2013 at Regency Place Nursing Home. She was 82, just 10 days shy of her 83rd birthday. Visiting at Greenoaks Funeral Home 9595 Florida Blvd, on Monday July 8, 2013 from 8:30 am until memorial service at 12:00pm. Service conducted by Brother David Cutrer. Interment at Greenoaks Memorial Cemetery. Family members will be pallbearers. She was preceded in death by her husband William Olen Hart Sr., a son William Olen Hart Jr “Buddy”, three brothers Dudly Jiles Efferson, Lawrence S Efferson and his twin. Eugenia is survived by one daughter Belinda Hart Turner of Baton Rouge and her husband Gary Allen Turner of Oakdale, two grandchildren, Brandie N. Turner Tuttle of Baton Rouge and her husband Lee Michael Tuttle of Gonzales and William Jiles Hart of Jackson, Louisiana; and numerous nieces and nephews. Eugenia “Jeanie” retired from the EBRP School Board. She touched the lives of all who knew her and she will sadly by missed. The family would like to thank the nurses, CNA’s, and staff of Regency Place Nursing Home for their love, care and support.
