A loving wife, mother and grandmother passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Monday, May 6, 2013 at the age of 91. A native of Satsuma and a resident of Baton Rouge, she was retired from Baton Rouge General Hospital. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Wednesday, May 8th, from 4 pm until 8 pm with recitation of the Rosary at 7 pm. Visitation will resume at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Thursday, May 9th, from 10am until Rite of Christian Burial at 11am conducted by the Deacon Pete Walsh. Entombment will follow in Hillcrest Memorial Gardens Mausoleum in Baker. She is survived by two daughters, Linda P. Smith and Cindy P. Guitrau and husband Roger; two sons, Terry Phillips and wife Linda Kay and Gary Phillips; nine grandchildren, Brian and wife Jenny, Brad and wife Gina, Brett, Michael and wife Cheri, Kelly and husband Brian, Shelby, Allison, Ashley and Garrett; and nine great-grandchildren. Eunice was preceded in death by her husband, Roy J. Phillips; parents, Absalom and Ophelia Holden Lott; six brothers and five sisters. Pallbearers are Brian, Brad and Nicholas Smith, Michael and Garrett Phillips and Leo Lott. Honorary pallbearers are Auburn and Adam Phillips and Johnny Long.
