Evan fought a long, difficult battle with addiction, which ended peacefully on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 at the age of 23. He was a native resident of Central, LA, born February 7, 1991. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home located at 9595 Florida Blvd. on Thursday, September 18 from 5-9 pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, September 19 from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church located at 14040 Greenwell Springs Rd. in Greenwell Springs, LA. Interment will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Evan is survived by his loving parents, Glenn and Jan Lewis Schittone, two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sarah and Jeremy Forbes of Pride, and Kayla and Ryan Love of Spokane, WA; two nephews and one niece, Lane and Logan Forbes and Jadyn Love; grandmother, Fannie Schittone, and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who also loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by grandparents John Schittone, Sr., and W.T. and Stella "Tootie" Lewis. He attended Central High School and graduated from the National Guard Youth Challenge Program. He loved spending time with all of his family and friends. Camping, fishing, and LSU football were the things he enjoyed the most. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to
