Evelyn D. Moran

A retired employee of Montgomery Ward and a resident of Baton Rouge, she passed away Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007, at 2:10 p.m. at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was 79. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Friday, Aug. 31, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, Sept. 1, from 8 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at Our Lady of Mercy Catholic Church at 10 a.m. Saturday, celebrated by the Rev. Vic Messina. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park on North Street. Survived by her husband of 36 years, Joseph Moran Sr.; a son, Jack "Jake" Donachricha and wife Lynn; two stepsons, Mark Moran and wife Ramona "Mona" and Dean Moran and wife Lena; stepdaughter, Julie Brewer and husband Glen; two sisters, Margaret Dixon and Marie Robertson and husband Jim; a brother, Nick Cappo and wife Bena; a sister-in-law, Cecile Cappo; and eight grandchildren, Brandon Donachricha, Ashley Moran, Casey Moran, Elise Moran, Amy Moran, Todd Moran, Gina Brewer and Rachel Brewer. Preceded in death by her first husband, Jake Donachricha; parents, Frank and Mary Cappo; three brothers, Russell Cappo, Harry Cappo and Dominic "D.D." Cappo. Pallbearers will be Jimbo Robertson, Craig Cappo, "Lil" Dee Cappo, Ricky Cappo, Johnny and Jason Dixon. Honorary pallbearers are Doby Dixon Jr., Frank Cappo, Todd Moran and Ronnie Cappo.
