
Florence Chustz Dunn went to be with her Lord and savior on Thursday, Sept. 13, 2007, at 2 p.m. She passed away peacefully at her nieces home after a lengthy illness. She will be deeply missed by her family and by all those whose lives she touched. She was always quick to smile, laugh and forgive. She was known for her generous heart and beautiful smile. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Thomas Carroll Dunn; father, Charles Francis Chustz; mother, Lillian Marie LeBlanc Chustz; brothers, Charles Jr. and George; sisters, Ruby Shows, Rose Mary Richard, Mable LoBianco and Shirley Olano. She is survived by three brothers, Alfred, Jimmy and John Earl Chustz; sister, Neva Marie Chustz Stein; and sisters-in-law, Mrs. Alfred "Judy" Chustz, Mrs. Charles "Elsie" Chustz Jr. and Mrs. Jimmy "Nyla Jo" Chustz. She had numerous nieces and nephews. Florence was a member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church, Plank Road, and Catholic Daughters of the Americas. St. Gerard. She was a loving wife and partner to her husband for 30 years until his untimely death at the age of 56. Florence Chustz Dunn was born in Lakeland on Nov. 3, 1921. The family wishes to express appreciation to her niece, Pam Skelton, for her loyal devotion in caring for Florence in the days preceding her death. Pallbearers will be Ivan Shows, Brian Skelton, James Allen Chustz, Chad Burke, Michael Papizan and Billy Papizan. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., was on Friday, Sept. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Saturday from 10 a.m. until religious service at noon. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd.
