Floyd L. Smith, a native of Winona, MS and resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Sunday, December 4, 2016 at his home at the age of 81. He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Jessie Smith; one brother and two sisters. Floyd is survived by his children, Myra Blizzard, Debbie Fichtenkort and Michael Smith; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; one brother and three sisters. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation which will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 12 pm until funeral services begin at 2 pm. Burial will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
