Frances Aline Cangelosi

Aline Francis Geraci Cangelosi, a native and life-long resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2026 at the age of 95 years old. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Aline is survived by her three loving daughters, Fran Cangelosi Hampton (Mark), Lafayette, LA; Terri Cangelosi Tuminello (Patrick) Madisonville LA; Dana Cangelosi Cannon (Ace), Watson, LA; 10 grandchildren, Blake Hampton, Hannah Hodgins (Grant), Carly Rankin (Mark), Stephen Rice, Brandon Tuminello (McKensey), Brent Tuminello, Joseph Tuminello (Mariana), Amber McFee (Roger), Amie Anderson (James), Anna Watkins; 9 great-grandchildren, Hampton Hodgins, Porter Hodgins, Covey Rice, Patrick Tuminello, TheoRose Tuminello, Samuel Tuminello, Madison McFee, Heath McFee and Declan McFee, brother, John ”Bubba” Geraci, and many loving extended family members. She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Frank Cangelosi; son, Darrel Michael Cangelosi, parents, Ross and Francis Piazza Geraci; sisters, Rose Caruso, Lena Bourgeois, Genevieve Jordan and Louise Branum. Aline was a realtor for 45 years, retired when she was 85 years old. She was acknowledged for many valuable contributions, including Million Dollar Agent in 1995 and Realtor of the Year in 1997. She loved cooking and shared her Italian traditions. Spaghetti-meatballs was her signature dish served every Sunday after church. She enjoyed playing cards, dancing, shopping, and Casinos. She was a lady of strength and class. Aline was a devout Catholic and was honored to be part of the legacy of St. Thomas More Catholic Church. Visitation will be at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, on Monday, July, 6, 2026, from 10:00 am until Mass time of 12:00 pm. Interment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers are Blake Hampton, Stephen Rice, Heath McFee, Brent Tuminello, Joseph Tuminello and Randy Corsentino. Lieu of flowers, the family requested that donation be made in her memory to Dementia Society of America.
