
Frances Wilson Greene passed away at her home on Oct.17, 2018. She was a native of Baton Rouge, born on Oct. 11, 1927. She graduated from Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU. She was a member of First United Methodist Church. Services will be held at Rabenhorst East on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2015 with visitation beginning at 9:00 am and service at 11:30 am. the Rev. Fernie Rivera officiating. Interment at Greenoaks Memorial Park. She was preceded in death by husband Marvin Greene, son Thomas McClure and parents Robert M. and Elizabeth Wilson, sisters Margie, Julia and Irene and brothers Karl, Robert, Lee and Riley. She is survived by daughters Judith Hopkins and son-in-law Frank and Jana Whitley and son-in-law Curtis, grandchildren Andrew, Jason, Joshua, Dustin, Erin and Jeremy and eight great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She loved her family, shopping, movies, music, and the LSU Tigers. She was a loyal friend to many residents of Villa St. Francis Apts. where she resided for 26 years. She was the heart and soul of our family and loved by all who knew her. She never met a stranger and was generous to all. Special thanks go to family members Joan Hall, Shirley Fleniken, Margie Dale Underwood, Jason Davis, Dominic Musso, and Dana Berthelot who so lovingly cared for her and to Miss Joy, Rebecca Mitchell and Art and Pat Landry whose visits meant so much. The family thanks friend and companion and adopted family member Wanda Johnson, the staff of Anointed Healthcare and Canon Hospice for their compassion and care.
