Retired from the Louisiana State Police, she died Friday, Jan. 11, 2008, at age 82. She was a resident of Baton Rouge and native of Silver Creek, Miss. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Tuesday, Jan. 15, from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at the funeral home on Wednesday from 9 a.m. until religious service in the chapel at 10 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Dave Barns and the Rev. Richard Wallace. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park. Survived by her husband of 64 years, J.B. "Bunky" Scott; two sons and daughters-in-law, Billy W. and Molly Scott and Gerald and Sylvia Scott; two sisters, Ruth Hodgepeth and Ann Sanders; five grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers and a sister. She was an active member of Stevendale Baptist Church.
