A retired employee of Louisiana Health Care Review, she died Sunday, Oct. 26, 2008, at Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet. She was born on Dec. 3, 1933, and was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Friday, Oct. 31, from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 am., conducted by Greg Owen, pastor. Survived by three sons, Matthew Lindsey Foretich and fiancée, Rebecca Alison Logan, Mark Stirling Foretich and wife Stacey Carruth Foretich, and Leo Lindsey Foretich Jr.; two sisters, Meryl Rhys Bassett, of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Elizabeth Mumford Christie, of Fayetteville, Ark.; two grandchildren, Rachael Gwyn La Flame and David Cole Foretich; and a great-grandchild, Madison Moon Foretich. Preceded in death by her father, Frank Mumford Stirling; mother, Margaret Lane Russell; and stepfather, Lt. Col. William G. Russell (U.S. Air Force, retired).
