

Dr. Frank Watts McDavitt Jr, age 88, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully at home on August 18th. Born in Osyka MS and a graduate of LSU School of Dentistry and Columba University School of Orthodontics. He served in the USAF obtaining the rank of Captain. He had a long practice of Dentistry/Orthodontics in Baton Rouge spanning over 60 years and retired at age 84. He was proceeded in death by his father Frank W McDavitt Sr, mother Jessie V McDavitt and brother John McDavitt. He is survived by his wife of 62 years Rene’ C McDavitt, daughter Fran McDavitt, son Scot McDavitt “Laura”, 3 grandsons Jeremy McDavitt, James McDavitt “Megan”, Jesse McDavitt “Lauren”, 2 great grandsons James “LJ” and Scot “T” McDavitt. The family would also like to thank the team at Audubon Hospice for their kind and caring service.
