

Frank was born Sept. 15, 1934, and passed from this life on Friday, May 29, 2009, at Ochsner Medical Center of Baton Rouge surrounded by his family. He was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge. Frank was a pipefitter and worked for Plumbers&Steamfitters Local 198 and later in life was self-employed. Frank was a man who loved life and was passionate about everything he did. An outgoing man who never met a stranger, he loved to be around people, loved dancing and was politically active in the local community. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, June 1, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., with recitation of the rosary at 7 p.m. Visitation at St. Patrick Catholic Church on Tuesday, June 2, from 9 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m., with the Rev. Jerry Martin, celebrant. Interment at Roselawn Memorial Park. Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Barbara Brown Zumo; two sons, Frank Joseph Zumo Jr. and wife Debbie, and Mark Alvin Zumo and wife Jodie; grandson, Ryan Zumo; and siblings, Josey Zumo Peoples, Anthony Zumo, Raymond Zumo and Delores Zumo Williams.
