Fred was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, in 1956 to the late Fred Landry Sr. and Varina Landry.
He was a hardworking and dedicated man who spent many years working as a carpenter foreman at Boh Bro Construction in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, until his retirement in 2004.
Fred was a devoted husband, father, and grandfather. He was the loving husband of Pamela Cedotal Landry, with whom he shared 44 years of marriage. He was a loving father to his son, Joshua Landry, and a cherished grandfather to his grandchildren, Mia Landry and Ryder Landry.
Fred will be remembered for his hard work, devotion to his family, and the many memories he created with those he loved. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Family and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass, on Saturday, August 15, 2026, at 11:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 119 Hwy. 403, Paincourtville, LA 70391. Visitation will be from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Burial will follow at St. Elizabeth Church Cemetery.
A reception with refreshments will be held after burial.
