Gary Lee Dodson, Sr.

Mr. Gary Lee Dodson, Sr. passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 26, 2018, at the age of 71. He was a resident of Denham Springs, LA and retired from the BR General. He will always be remembered as “The Chief” by all that knew him. He will also be remembered for his great love and dedication for his family and for utilizing his “treasures” in his outdoor oasis. Mr. Dodson is survived by his six children, Gary Dodson, Jr. and wife, Joy, David Dodson, Sr. and wife, Ashley, Lisa Brown and husband, Pete, Roxanne Disedare and husband, Todd, Toby Dodson and wife, Dawn, Mandi Brown and husband, Buddy; 11 grandchildren, David Jr. and wife, Aubrey, Case and fiancé, Blaire, Chanse, Travis, Chandler, Lake, Daniel, Anthony, Heath, Cameron and Hailey; great-grandchildren, Rayne, Layla, Keelin, Sophie and Lincoln; Sister, Carolyn Roberson of Lafayette, LA and brothers, Kenneth Dodson of Lafayette, LA and Michael Dodson of Houston, TX. Gary is preceded in death by the love of his life, Dolores Dodson and parents, Foy and Ellene Dodson of Scott, LA. Visitation will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 865 Hatchell Lane, Denham Springs, LA on Monday, July 9, 2018 from 10:00am until the Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00am.
