A native and resident of Baton Rouge, he died Thursday, Feb. 17, 2011, at his home. He was 50. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., on Monday, Feb. 21, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visitation resumes at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9 a.m. until religious service at 11 a.m., conducted by the Rev. Glenn Mayeaux. Interment in Resthaven Gardens of Memory. He is survived by his father, Stafford R. Mayberry; two sisters, Sherry Mayberry and Phyllis Mayberry Harrison; a brother and sister-in-law, Troy and Valerie Mayberry; five nieces, Angela Mayberry Brignac, Natasha Leteff, Tori Harrison, Kim Schrone and Christy Cline; two nephews, Bubba Cline and Brandon Golson; three great-nieces, Desirae Pruyn, Kyla Murphy and Laylah Savage; three great-nephews, Shawn Brignac, Kaleb Pruyn and Jonathan Savage; and many aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Jeannie Shelton Mayberry; and a nephew-in-law, Shane A. Brignac.
