Genevieve Guidroz Dabadie

Genevieve Guidroz DabadieGenevieve Guidroz Dabadie, born May 14, 1928 and passed away Tuesday, December 22, 2015 at the age of 87, a native of Ventress, Louisiana and a resident of Greenwell Springs, Louisiana. She was a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church. Visitation will be Monday, December 28, 2015, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church, 10:30 a.m. until a mass of Christian burial at 12 noon. Mass will be celebrated by Father Mike Moroney. Entombment will follow in Resthaven Gardens of Memory Mausoleum. She is survived by three daughters, Deborah Dabadie of Plaquemine, LA, Sylvia Smith and husband Greg of Greenwell Springs, LA and  Christine Gilliam and husband Ronald of Greenwell Springs, LA; seven grandchildren, Barry Landry, Jr., Amy Sadden, Heidi McClure, Hollie Price, Kacie Sullivan, Lauren Holland and Clay Gilliam; and ten great grandchildren, Barrie JoAnn Landry, Colby and Kaylee Sadden, Maverick, Ryann, Riley and Madden McClure, Kylie Price, Brantley Sullivan, Rivers and Emery Holland; two sisters, Violet Gauthier of Prairieville, LA and Ruby Campbell of Baton Rouge, LA.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Louis Dabadie, Jr., parents, Adam and Odile Olinde Guidroz, and a brother, Adam W. Guidroz. Pallbearers will be Barry Landry, Jr., Clay Gilliam, Todd McClure, Justin Price, Kelly Sullivan and Steven Holland.
