Gerald Dale Romano

Gerald Dale Romano, native of Baton Rouge, LA and resident of Baker, LA, passed away on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at the age of 65. Gerald was a lifelong plumber who enjoyed hunting, fishing and all things outdoors. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is survived by his daughter, Michelle Landry (Jonathan); grandchildren, Ellie, Evan, and Easton Landry; brother, Tim Romano (Robin); niece, Rachel Rushing; great-nephews, Carlos and Luther; great-niece, Samantha; aunts, Peggy and Barbara; and cousins, Debbie, Robin, Leslie, Kevin, and Steven. He is preceded in death by his parents, Rosario J Romano, Sr. and Phoebe Romano; brother, Rosario "Russ” J. Romano, Jr.; uncles, Edward “Bubbie” Romano and Joseph A. Romano; great-nephew, Thomas Edelen; cousin, Larry Romano; and his beloved cat, Sylvester. A visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, on Saturday, March 23, 2024 from 9 am until funeral service at 10 am.
