
A devout Catholic who dedicated her life to her family and to God, she died at 1:45 a.m. Tuesday, May 15, 2007, at her home in Baton Rouge. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, May 16, was from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. Visiting resumes at the funeral home on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Jude Catholic Church at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, with the Rev. David Allen, celebrant. Interment in the family plot at Roselawn Memorial Park. Survivors include her daughters and a son-in-law, Camilla Alello Singleton and Nancy Alello Salemi and husband Frank; sisters, Josephine C. Russo and Laura C. Martina; brothers, Luke and Nick Cusimano; grandchildren, Jerry Singleton, Theresa Singleton, Kenneth Singleton, Gina Salemi Funk and Tammy Salemi Boone; great-grandchildren, Samantha, Ian, Trey, Ashlie, Kenny and Joel Singleton, Nikki Singleton-Moore, Chevis and Chelsea Boone, Trish Hart, Vinyard Brandt Hart and Brittney Funk; a great-great-granddaughter, Shelby Boone; and numerous loving nieces and nephews. Born April 10, 1913, in Baton Rouge, she was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years, Charles R. Alello; sons, Russell and Anthony; parents, Antonio "Tony" and Nancy Territo Cusimano; brothers, Tony, Johnny and Cero; and sisters, Lena and Mary Cusimano and Ann C. Bellina. Pallbearers will be Russ Bourgeois, Blaze Marino, Thomas Marino, L.J. Cusimano, Bernard Bellina, Joey Amarello and Joey Territo. Honorary pallbearers are Nick Cusimano, Luke Cusimano, Frank Salemi and Peter Territo. Special thanks to Baton Rouge Home Care, Southern Care, Baton Rouge General Medical Center-Bluebonnet, Dr. T. James, Dawn, Jerry, Catherine, the Rev. David Allen, the Rev. Greg Daigle, the Rev. Pat Mascarella and all others who helped with our loved one.
