
A resident of Baton Rouge, she died at 1:07 a.m. Sunday, July 27, 2008, at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She was 84 and a native of East Feliciana Parish. She graduated from Istrouma High School in 1941 and Spencer Business College. She was an elementary Sunday school secretary at First United Methodist Church for a number of years and was active in church work. She is survived by two sons, Rodney Hubble and wife Betsy, of Magnolia Springs, Ala., and Garry Lyle Hubble and wife Lisa, of Port Allen; grandchildren, Paul Ashton Hubble and wife Holly, Adam Dawson Hubble and wife Lauren, Joseph Adam Hubble, Jason Patrick Hubble and Phillip Michael Theodore Hubble; and great-grandchildren, Shyanne, Kylie, Hayes, Bess, Brayden and Colton Hubble. Preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Peter A. "Pete" Hubble; parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd W. Jacox; and brother, Dan Mathis Jacox. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 825 Government St., on Wednesday, July 30, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation at First United Methodist Church, 930 North Blvd., on Thursday, July 31, from 11 a.m. until service at 1 p.m., officiated by the Rev. Chris Andrews and the Rev. Mike Hammett. Interment in Roselawn Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be her five grandsons and Richard H. Lea. Honorary pallbearers are Gregory Patin, William Smith, Barry Scott, Jeff Savoy and Carl Goode.
