Gladys "Kitty" Bennett

Kitty passed away peacefully on Sunday, July 28, 2013, surrounded by her family. She was a resident of Clinton and a licensed electrologist and a pioneer in the business. She loved living in the country, spending time with her family, caring for her yard and garden, cooking, and playing competitive scrabble games. She was an avid cruiser and looked forward to her annual Carnival cruises. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Friday, August 2, 2013 from 12 PM until the memorial service at 2 PM. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Walker LeBlanc; son, Frank Jeffrey Walker; sister, Doris Huckabee; grandchildren, Chris LeBlanc and wife Christine, Shelley LeBlanc, Amanda Cloessner, and husband, Jason, Brian Walker and wife, Sarah, Nora Walker, Jina Self and husband, Albert, TJ Walker and wife, Esther; she was blessed with 12 great grandchildren, Seth, Payton, Jacob, Evan, Grant, Ian, Matthew, Taneka, Moses, Roman, Mattie, and Melina; and numerous nieces and nephews.
