She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Gladys was 72, a native of Sunshine and resident of Greensburg. She passed away at her home at 8 a.m. Monday, Sept. 12, 2011. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Wednesday, Sept. 14, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visitation will resume Thursday from 11 a.m. until the religious service in the funeral home chapel at 1 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Jack Nutter. Interment at Beechridge Cemetery, Denham Springs. Survived by her husband of 52 years, Bill Green; five children, Madeline Green, William Green Jr., Eddie Green, Sharon Green and James Green; 10 grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, three sisters, three brothers and numerous nieces and nephews. Gladys was preceded in death by her parents, James Norris Williams and Madeline Acosta Williams; grandchild, Angela Connor; and great-grandchild, Colby Connor. >
