Chris with her family moved to Ormond Beach, FL in 1963, and attended Seabreeze High School and University of Central Florida.
With an immense love for children, she began teaching preschool when she moved to Baton Rouge in 1978, teaching at St. Luke’s Episcopal School, Christian Life Academy and University Methodist preschool.
Having moved with her family to Sugarland, TX, Birmingham, AL and Lutherville, MD, Chris returned to Baton Rouge in 2007.
She is survived by daughter Jennifer Parrenin (Nolan), Slaughter, LA, John Robin Graham (Naomi Dubin), Madison WI, granddaughter Amelia Parrenin, Slaughter, LA., sister Sally Minyard (Joey), Apache Junction, AZ, and former husband Robin Graham (William J. McLennan), Baltimore, MD.
She is predeceased by her parents, Russell and Gloria Johnson.
The family would like to thank The Hospice of Baton Rouge and the Butterfly Wing for an overwhelming quality of care.

A Celebration of Life, led by Keith Morris will be held Sunday, June 7 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home of Government St; the family will receive friends at 2 pm with the Celebration at 4 pm.
