Gloria Joy (Comish) Lee

She was a graduate of Independence High School and Louisiana State University, where she was a Phi Beta Kappa scholar and a member of the Purple Jackets Marching Team. Gloria was a dedicated member of Florida Boulevard Baptist Church where she helped start the first pre-school program and served as Pre-school Director for over 15 years. Gloria made a joyful noise as a member of the choir. Gloria was an avid reader, she loved baking sweets, eating chocolate, cheering for the LSU Tigers, and, most of all, she loved family.

Gloria was predeceased by her parents, Hugh and Lois Comish. Preceded in death by her parents, Hugh and Lois Comish.

Survived by her husband of 71 years, Otis William Lee, two sons, David (Sharon) and Jeff (Cindy), brother Hugh (Nancy) and brother-in-law Ed. She was a beloved grandmother (Dede) to her grandchildren Melissa, Tucker, Hilary, Meagan, Matthew and Morgan and great grandchildren Cameron, Alana, Sophie, and Jackson.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 12, at Greenoaks Funeral Home & Memorial Park from 10:00AM until services at 12:00PM, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, La.
