

Glynn Wood “Pud” Campbell, age 72, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on January 29, 2019, after a brief illness. He retired after 37 years from Exxon as a welder. He graduated from Istrouma High School in 1965. He was a founding member of the Puletite Hunting Club and a lifetime member of the NRA.
Glynn is survived by a son Sean Wood Campbell and wife Becky; two grandsons Chase Wood Campbell and Sean Cooper Campbell; a brother Jerry Milton Campbell and wife Mary; niece Bonnie Jo Marquette and husband David; great nieces Brandi Herndon and husband Peter, Christin Stewart; great-great nieces Payton and Randi Kimball; granddaughter Taylor Ardoin; his soulmate Theresa Ognibene, Daniel Bourgeois, Leslie Bourgeois, Jamie Ognibene and Gabby Johnson. He was preceded in death by his father Barto Milton Campbell, his mother Josephine Starkey Campbell, and adopted mother Hattie Lille Ognibene.
Visiting hours will take place at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, January 31, 2019 from 5pm – 9pm. Visitation will resume on Friday, February 1, 2019 at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church from 11:30am until funeral service begins at 1pm. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. The pallbearers are Manuel “Boo” Persica, Adam Day, Michael Keowan, Jamie Glynn Blades, Chase Campbell, Sean Cooper Campbell, Dan Bourgeois, and Stephen “Rock” Cangelosi. The family wishes to extend their sincere thanks to the Baton Rouge Hospice Butterfly Wing.
