
A native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Zachary, he died on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2009. He was 83 and a World War II veteran. He retired from Georgia-Gulf Corp. after 21 years of service. He is survived by his wife, Juarene Whitehead Gisclard; children, Marty Gisclard, of Zachary, Lane Stanberry, of Shreveport, and Ray Gisclard, of Baton Rouge; grandchildren, Reneé Beadle, of Zachary, Todd Stanberry, of Shreveport, Keli Dupras, of Zachary, Bryce Gisclard, of Shreveport, and DeLynn Fairless, of Tulsa, Okla.; and great-grandchildren, Garrett Beadle, Hali Dupras and Mac Beadle, all of Zachary, Mathis Stanberry, of Shreveport, and Aubrey Beadle, of Zachary. He is also survived by his sisters, Linwood Findley, of Anderson, S.C., Susan Finch, of Roswell, Ga., and Georgette Davis, of Grand Bay, Ala.; seven nieces and nephews; and his caretaker, Ruby Davis, of Zachary (originally of Shreveport). Visitation at the Aldrich Chapel of First United Methodist Church in Baton Rouge on Saturday, Jan. 24, was from 10 a.m. until memorial service at 11 a.m. He was a lifetime member of the United Methodist Church, a member of the St. James Masonic Lodge, Theta Xi fraternity and the Sons of the American Revolution.
