Gretchen Ann Underwood

"Gretchen Ann Underwood Smith, 75, of Prairieville, was called to be with her Lord on December 12, 2018 while surrounded by family. She was a Baton Rouge native, and a retired EBR Parish School bus driver.  She is survived by: three sons "“ Dominic A. Musso, Raymond T. Musso, and Salvador D. Musso; two daughters - Rhonda M. Berg and Jeffrie P. Smith; five grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sisters "“ Shirley V. Fleniken and Margie D. Underwood; her brother, John S. Underwood; and her special friend, Rick Guzman. She was preceded in death by: her father, Robert W. Underwood, Sr.; her mother, Margie W. Underwood; a brother, Robert W. Underwood, Jr.; and a sister, Gayle Underwood.  Gretchen would always help someone in need, in the family or outside the family. This also included animals. She had a love of collecting tiffany lamps and her knick-knacks. She was strong in her faith, word and will.  Relatives and friends are invited to join the family for a celebration of her life. Visitation will be held from  3:00 pm until 6:00  pm on  Sunday, December 16 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home, 11000 Florida Blvd. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Monday, December 17 at 10:00 am until the funeral service at 12:00 pm.  Special thanks to the Hospice of Baton Rouge.
