Mike Ryan, native of Many, La and resident of Baton Rouge, La, passed away on Tuesday, September 14, 2010 at the age of 74. He is survived by his loving wife of 32 years, June May; daughter, Debbie May Lihou and husband Craig of Australia; son, Jeff May of San Diego, Ca; two grandsons who were the love of his life, Hunter and Noah Lihou; brothers and sisters-in-law, John Edmond Ryan “Jack” and Marcia, James L. Ryan “Jim” and Eretta, and Henry Patrick Ryan and Patricia; sister-in-law, Gail Ryan; numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved “baby girl” Destin. He is preceded in death by his parents, Thomas Edmond and Irma Delatin Ryan; and his brother, Harold Ryan. Mike was a veteran of the United States Air Force, and was retired from Crown Zellerbach and Colonial Insurance Company. He was an active member of St. Thomas More Catholic Church and his favorite place to go was Destin, Fl. Visitation will be on Thursday, September 16, from 5 pm until 8 pm and will resume on Friday from 10 am until religious services at 12 noon. Burial will be at Greenoaks Memorial Park Cemetery.
