A resident of Core Lane in Central and a native of Olive Branch, she died Thursday, July 15, 2010, at her second home, the residence of her dear friend, Alma Bruhl. She was 95. Visiting at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., Saturday, July 17, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Visiting at Zoar Baptist Church on Sunday, July 18, from 1 p.m. until the funeral service at 2 p.m., conducted by the Rev. Kevin Hand. Burial will be in the church cemetery. She is survived by a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews; her adopted family, Alma, Donnie, Chuck, Jennifer, Josh and Emily Nicole; and her companion and friend, Kimberly Clayton. She was preceded in death by husband, Lee Ernest Edwards; a daughter, Bonnie Lou Cameron; and two sisters, Jean and Helen. She was a lifelong member of Zoar Baptist Church. Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
