Helen O. Cangelosi

"Helen O. Cangelosi , a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away peacefully with her children by her side on July 9,2018 at the age of  89. Helen was a graduate of Baton Rouge High School and attended LSU. She is preceded in death by her parents George and Mabel Oldham, and her husband Roy F. Cangelosi, Jr; survived by her children Pam (Marvin) Ducote, Janet (Mike) Hibbard, Roe (Julie) Cangelosi, Judy (Doug) Brousseau, Gwen (Mickey) Mitchell, Thad Cangelosi, Greg (Cathy) Cangelosi, 7 grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. Helen was a devoted wife and loving mother, a kind gentle soul with a giving heart. Pallbearers will be Paul Cangelosi, David Cangelosi, Randy Cangelosi, Ricky Cangelosi, Charles Perrault, and Michael Perrault. Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 17, 2018 at Rabenhorst Funeral Home (825 Government Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.  Visitation will continue on Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church (2250 Main Street, Baton Rouge, LA 70802) from 9:00 am until the Funeral Mass at 10:00 am celebrated by Father Miles Walsh. Burial will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church.
