
She was born in Natchitoches on Aug. 20, 1932, and reared in Baton Rouge. Those who knew her know her affiliations and accomplishments, as well as her civic, social and charitable contributions over the years. Preceded in death by her much-loved husband, Charles Wm. Roberts; parents, Dean E.B. and Alberta Robert; and sister, Bobbie Jane Roberts. Survived by treasured children and their spouses, Cooper and JoAnne Roberts and Aline and Steve Creed, all of Baton Rouge, Nathan and Chris Roberts, of Lafayette, and Matthew Roberts and Michael Kennedy, both of Washington D.C. Also survived by her grandchildren, Katie, Cooper "Beau" and Margaret Roberts, Max, Megan and Sam Roberts, and William "Billy" and Emily Creed; and brother, Edward B. Robert. Pallbearers will be her nephews, Steve and Rebel Roberts, and grandsons, Beau, Max, and Sam Roberts, and Billy Creed. Visitation at St. Aloysius Catholic Church on Monday, Dec. 27, from 11 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 1 p.m., with the Rev. Greg Daigle, celebrant. Interment in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
