Henry Donachricha passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, November 7, 2015 at the age of 77. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and served on the USS Lake Champlain. Henry enjoyed fishing, cooking, and spending time with his entire family especially his nieces and nephews, whom he loved very much. Henry is survived by five siblings, Bennie Lou Devall and husband, Arthur, Joseph Donachricha, Marguerite Babineaux, Virginia Chambliss and husband, Pete, JoAnn Riles and husband, Gary. He was preceded in death by his parents, Vincent and Mary Donachricha. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6380 Hooper Rd, Baton Rouge, LA 70811, from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 12 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Frank Bass. Interment will follow on the grounds of Greenoaks Memorial Park, 9595 Florida Blvd. Baton Rouge, LA 70815. Special thanks to Hospice of Baton Rouge.
